Medical Director of Atherton Endoscopy Center
Dr. Torosis is a native of Montreal, Canada and founded Peninsula Gastroenterology Medical Group in 1986. Dr. Torosis attended medical school and internship at McGill University in Montreal. In 1982 Dr. Torosis moved to California where he completed his internal medicine residency in San Diego. He attended Yale University for his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases. In 1986 at the completion of his fellowship, he moved to the Peninsula. Dr. Torosis is the Chief of the Internal Medicine Department at Sequoia Hospital. Besides patient care, Dr. Torosis enjoys teaching medical students and residents and holds a voluntary clinical teaching appointment at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Torosis' wife is also a gastroenterologist and they have two daughters. Dr. Torosis is fluent in Greek and French.

| Vicky Yang, M.D. |

Dr. Yang is a native of Taiwan and moved to California after high school. She attended college in Los Angeles and graduated medical school from Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Yang moved to the Bay Area for her post-graduate medical training and completed her internal medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Dr. Yang also had the honor of serving an extra year as the Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Following this she completed a 3-year fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University and joined Peninsula Gastroenterology Medical Group in July 2000. Dr. Yang continues to be involved in teaching at Stanford University and the Palo Alto Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Yang's husband is an engineer and they have two sons. Dr. Yang is also fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese.

| Dan Rengstorff, M.D. |

Dr. Rengstorff was born and raised in the Bay Area. He attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He later returned to the Bay Area to complete his fellowship in Gastroenterology at California Pacific Medical Center. During his fellowship Dr. Rengstorff was involved in studies evaluating the treatment of bleeding gastric varices and toxin induced hepatitis. Dr. Rengstorff is married and has one son. While not involved in patient care he enjoys golfing, skiing and wood working.

Dr. Chen was born in Taiwan and moved to New York at age 9. She attended college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated medical school from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York with distinction in immunology research. She was selected as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She later moved to the Bay area and completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Chen then pursued advanced fellowship training in interventional endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and gastrointestinal oncology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center where she was also an attending clinical instructor. Dr. Chen has published her work in several peer-reviewed journals and co-authored book chapters on interventional endoscopy. She is married to an engineer who attended the same college as she and they both enjoy playing volleyball in their spare time.
